Uganda Premier league side Mbarara City FC have named Charles Livingstone Mbabazi as their new head coach.
Mbabazi replaces Wasswa Bbosa who served as head coach at the Ankole Lions during the just concluded season.
Bbosa had joined Mbarara City on a one year employment contract which expired at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
Mbabazi has been without a club since hus departure at Vipers SC in April, 2024.
According to Kawowo Sports, Mbabazi returns to Mbarara City on a two year employment contract.
Mbabazi has previously served at Lweza FC, Masavu FC, Wakiso Giants, Onduparaka FC, Kyetume FC, Uganda Revenue Authority FC, Arua Hill and Vipers SC.
Last season, Mbarara City under the stewardship of Bbosa finished 10th on the table with 32 points.
