Ugandan goalkeeper Simon Tamale has part ways with Rwanda Premier league side Rayon Sports Club.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Tamale is currently a free agent following expiration of his one year employment contract with the Rwandese side.
Tamale joined Rayon Sports Club at the start of the 2023/24 season on a one year deal from Maroons FC.
At Maroons FC, Tamale had impressed during the 2022/23 season keeping 12 clean sheets for the Luzira based side, helping them to a sixth place finish that term.
Following a successful 2022/23 campaign, Tamale was named as the Pilsner Uganda Premier League Goalkeeper of the Season.
Tamale has previously played for Ugandan sides Police FC and Soltilo Bright Stars.
Last season, Rayon Sports Club finished second on the Rwanda Premier league table with 57 points as APR clinched the title.
