Vipers SC are expected to appoint Serbian tactician Nikola Kavazović as their new head coach.

According to African football journalist Micky Junior, Kavazovic is expected to sign a two year contract with the Venoms.

The 48 year old Serb has previously coached Township Rollers in Botswana, Kenya’s AFC Leopards, Free State Stars (in South Africa) and currently Ethiopia Coffee.

Kavazovic also coached Sri Lanka and Tajikistan national football teams between 2012 – 2014.

He will be filling the void left by Charles Livingstone Mbabazi who was relieved of his duties in the closing stages of last season.

The Venoms are expected to seek redemption next season having endured a trophy-less and unpleasant campaign last season.

They are also expected to part ways with a number of players before embarking on pre-season training later this month.
