Mugume signs KCCA FC contract extension

Ashiraf Mugume has signed a contract extension until 2027 at KCCA FC, the club have confirmed. The midfielder has put pen to paper on a three year employment contract with the Lugogo based side as earlier reported by this website.

Ashiraf Mugume set to renew contract despite strong interest from Vipers

Mugume joined KCCA FC in June 2020 and signed a four-year contract that expired at the end of tgr 2023/24 season.

“I feel delighted to commit my future to KCCA FC. I have been happy since joining the club in 2020. The first days at the club were a little tough as I had to adapt to a new environment but thanks to my teammates that made me feel at home. I am now a better player and have gained experience over the years. I am fully committed to the club and I want to win with KCCA FC. I have had several conversations with the manager and I am aligned to his philosophy and hopefully we can achieve many great things with this group.” Said Mugume as quoted by the club.

During the previous season, Mugume scored 7 league goals for KCCA FC only behind Shaban Muhammad and Usama Arafat on 17 and 8 respectively.

Besides KCCA FC, Mugume has previously featured for Vipers SC and Police FC.

KCCA FC have already confirmed two new signings in Shafik Nana Kwikiriza and Steven Munguchi.
