Dissan Galiwango completes return to UPL

Left back Dissan Galiwango has rejoined six time Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Galiwango has completed a return to Vipers and put pen to paper on a two year deal.

The left back has spent just one season with Tanzania Premier league side Kagera Sugar Football Club whom he joined at end of the 2022/23 season.

Galiwango will compete for a starting place with Derrick Ndahiro who also completed a move to the Venoms this week from Rwanda’s Police FC.

In his first stint, Galiwango won two league titles and two Stanbic Uganda Cup trophies before he joined Kagera Sugar.

He began his career at Rifo Soccer Academy before joining Simba FC in 2015. He also featured for The Saints FC, Water FC and Express FC.

Meanwhile, the Venoms have also signed Angolan winger Pedro Sukuya, youngsters Issa Bugembe and Kenneth Kimera.

Vipers will be under the stewardship of Serbian tactician Nikola Kavazovic and has already kicked started his duties with the players returning for pre-season training today.
