MASAZA CUP: Ssese, Buvuma share spoils at Lutoboka

Ssese and Buvuma will have to wait a little longer to register their maiden victory of the 2024 Masaza Cup tournament as the two sides played to a one all draw at Lutoboka grounds on Saturday 6th July.

The two sides played to a goalless first half until the deadlock was broken in the closing half.

Muhammad Sabil and Brian Henry Katamba scored each hosts Ssese and Buvuma respectively.

Jordan Ariaka of Ssese was named man of the match at the end of the day.

The two sides remain winless after playing their match day encounters.

Ssese lost their opener 1-0 to Kabula at Bakijulula grounds while Buvuma played to a goalless draw with Mawokota at Magyo grounds.

Match day two will continue tomorrow Sunday 7th-July with eight games.

Record champions Gomba will face off with Ssingo at Mityana Ssaza grounds as both sides target their first victory.

Ssingo played to a goalless draw in the opener while Gomba lost 2-0 to Kyaggwe.

Defending champions Bulemeezi will be away against Bugerere at Ntenjeru grounds.

Mawokota and Busiro will be at Buwama, Buddu will host Kyaddondo at Kitovu Arena.

Mawogola visits Kyaggwe at Bishops grounds Mukono, Kooki and Buwekula will play from Rakai PTC, Busujju will host Kabula at Kakindu grounds
