Forward Joseph Janjali has joined UPDF FC on a two year contract, Swift Sports has learnt.
Janjali returns to the Uganda Premier League after a stint with Rwanda second tier side Espoir FC.
As earlier reported by this website, UPDF were keen on signing their former forward and negotiations have emerged successful.
It should be remembered that Janjali made his Uganda Premier League debut with UPDF during the second round of the 2017/18 season.
He subsequently joined Vipers and later Soltilo Bright Stars before switching to Espoir FC early last year.
Janjali was set to join Police FC in the FUFA Big League during the second half of last season but his transfer fell through.
The Army side is expected to embark on a squad overhaul after surviving relegation by a whisker last season.
UPDF finished 13th on the Uganda Premier League log with 27 points accumulated from 29 games played.
