Muhammad Shaban unveiled at Libyan side Al Hilal SC Benghazi

Former KCCA FC striker Muhammad Shaban has joined Libyan side Al Hilal SC Benghazi.

Shaban has joined the Libyan outfit on a one year employment contract as a free agent following expiration of his contract at KCCA FC.

“Hey everyone! I’m excited to announce that I’ve officially signed with Al Hilal SC
This is a new chapter in my career,I’m ready to give my all on the pitch and bring my best to the team. Let’s make some unforgettable memories together.” Shaban said after his unveiling.

Shaban was Uganda Premier league top scorer with 17 goals last season and scored for the Uganda Cranes in the 1-0 victory over Botswana in the World Cup qualifier match at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole last month.

He has previously featured for Onduparaka FC, KCCA FC, Moroccan side Raja Casablanca and Vipers SC.

At his new club he was unveiled along with other new signings Amgad Bin Abdy, Mohamed Khaliz, Ashraf Al Maqsi, Mohammed Bin Salem and Talha Rizk.

Al Hilal Benghazi are Kitara’s CAF Confederation Cup opponents in the first Preliminary round.

Shaban’s new side is a Libyan professional association football club based in Benghazi and competes in the Libyan Premier League.

The club was founded 72 years ago and host their games at Ground Martyrs of February Stadium, Benina, Libya that has a Capacity of 10,550.
