Former Vipers SC head coach Richard Makumbi and one of the directors Haruna Kyobe were both honoured at the inaugural Vipers Day that was held on Saturday.
Makumbi was honoured for guiding the club to the Uganda Premier league promotion in 2006.
The Kitende outfit hired Makumbi in 2005 and played a vital role in helping the side gain topflight division status.

He won the Wakiso district first division league, Zonal Mini League with Vipers SC (then Bunamwaya) on their way to the Uganda Premier league.
During the inaugural Vipers Day, Makumbi was rewarded for his achievements at the club.
Kyobe was also rewarded with an Award of dedication services in recognition for his commitment towards the club.
Kyobe has served the club in various capacities as a player, worked as secretary before upgrading to a director and shareholder at the six time Uganda Premier league champions.
