Croatian Side interested in Umar Lutalo’s signature

Former SC Villa attacker Umar Lutalo is set to join Croatian side NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica, according to Nerve Africa.

Lutalo is currently a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa.

NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica are offering him a three year employment contract.

The Croatian outfit join Ethiopian Giants St.George who also expressed interest in Lutalo’s signature earlier this transfer window.

In case the deal materializes, Lutalo will be the second Uganda after Abdu Lumala to play for the Croatian side.

During his time at SC Villa, Lutalo made a total of 54 league appearances, scoring 10 goals and one league title.

The former Aspire Academy player can ably play as a left back, a left winger and an offensive midfielder.

Lutalo has previously featured for the national U20 Team The Hippos as well as the senior national team.

NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica is a Croatian professional football club based in the city of Koprivnica in the north of Croatia. They play their home matches at Gradski stadion in Koprivnica.
