URA FC registered their third consecutive win with the 4-0 thrashing of Soltilo Bright Stars on Wednesday at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.
Joseph Ssemujju, Moses Aliro and a brace from Bruno Bunyaga handed the tax collectors maximum points over relegation threatened Bright Stars.
Ssemujju gave Alex Isabirye’s side the lead at the quarter hour mark before Bunyaga who replaced Ivan Ahimbisibwe in the first period doubled their advantage in the 39th minute.
Aliro made it 3-0 in the 56th minute after being set up by Norman Namanya.
Bunyaga completed his brace with two minutes to regulation time as URA cruised to their 12 win of the season.
The tax collectors are currently third on the Uganda Premier league table with 39 points as BUL FC who have played less games.
For Bright Stars relegation looms large as they remain second from the bottom with just 15 points.
In the other game played on Wednesday, Wakiso Giants and Maroons shared spoils in a six goal thriller.
