George Lutalo appointed as head coach for Big League new entrants

New Big League entrants Buhimba United Saint FC have appointed former Crested Cranes coach George Lutalo as their new head coach.

Lutalo has officially been unveiled on a one year contract.

He subsequently replaces Paul Nkata who recently joined Tanzania’s Kagera Sugar, as earlier revealed by this website.

” I am excited to join a winning team and return to Kigaaya playground, a winning ground, ” Lutalo said upon his unveiling.

Lutalo comes with a wealth of experience having coached at various football levels in the country.

He previously coached at URA FC, Kitara FC, JMC Hippos, Soana FC, Onduparaka FC and Gaddafi FC among others.

Lutalo won the CECAFA Women’s Championship with Crested Cranes in 2022 and led the team to the Women’s AFCON that year.

His most recent designation was with Manyangwa FC in the Buganda Regional League.

Buhimba United have already signed Davis Kakaire, Derrick Byabachwezi, Jacob Owori, Hamza Ssempa, Edison Agondeze and left back John Adriko.
