Buganda Regional League side Simba FC have officially unveiled goalkeeper Joseph Yiga as their latest signing.
Yiga has previously played for Uganda Premier League record champions SC Villa, Tooro United and UPDF.
He played for SC Villa in the 2021/22 season with his notable contribution being penalty shoot out heroics as the Jogoos eliminated Express FC from Uganda Cup.
Yiga also played for Gomba and Ssingo in the Masaza Cup tournament.
Peter Kaye, Jamil Kajuba, Umar Kayemba, Mobin Bashir and Erias Cyril Ejoku are the other new signings previously confirmed by the Namulonge based entity.
Simba FC were Sezibwa group leaders at the end of last season with 52 points and faced off with Ntungasaze FC Katonga group leaders in the Buganda Regional League Promotional playoffs final.
They lost 2-0 to Ntungasaze FC 2-0 in a game that was played at Lugazi FC Stadium.
