Mbale Heroes have completed the signing of Express FC forward Edgar Katumba William.
Katumba joins the newly promoted Uganda Premier League side on a one year employment contract.
He has been a free agent following expiration of his contract at seven time Uganda Premier League champions Express FC.
Katumba is remembered for scoring the equalizer for Express during their Uganda Cup exit against BUL FC last season at the round of 16.
He started his football career at Kick-off Sports Academy in Buloba.
Mbale Heroes will feature in the top flight division for the first time since 2005. They finished third on the FUFA Big League table last season to secure top flight promotion.
They will kickoff their campaign against Express FC under the floodlights of Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo on Monday.
