Uganda Premier league side NEC FC have agreed terms with Maroons FC defender Patrick Bayiga.
Bayiga has a year left on his employment contract at the Luzira based side.
This website can reliably confirm that Bayiga has agreed to join NEC on a two year employment contract.
The towering defender has spent the last five seasons at Maroons FC having joined them at the start of the 2018/19 season.
NEC FC are expected to add FUFA Big League top scorer Dickson Niwamanya, veteran midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba, Goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Amir Kakomo and Viane Ssekajugo to their books.
NEC FC have also beefed up their coaching staff with former Express FC head coach James Odoch who will serve as Hussein Mbalangu’s immediate assistant.
They had a decent debut topflight division campaign as they finished sixth on the table and were runners up in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
