Abdallah Mubiru takes swipe at Kitara as KCCA boss says he cannot have sleepless nights over Brian Ssenyondo’s side
The KCCA FC tactician took a veiled dig at their next opponents Kitara FC by insisting they are not a big team. KCCA FC will next host Kitara FC on under the floodlights of Lugogo on Friday.
After his side’s 1-1 stalemate at BUL FC, Mubiru asserted that Kitara is just an on form team but not a team he can lose his sleep like SC Villa or Vipers SC.
“Kitara is not a big team like you hype them, they are just an on form team. They are not big compared to the way you hype them.They are not that big not a team that I can probably have sleepless nights. They are not a team like you can see SC Villa or Vipers. They are on form, playing well but they are not that like the way you compare them.”
Mubiru however asserts that his team should have the instinct of killing off the game
“We had a better advantage over BUL FC, we created more chances but we need to have that instinct of killing off the game. We have to plan for the next game and we are looking forward towards motivating, planning and working so that we achieve maximum points.” Said Mubiru
Last season, Kitara beat KCCA FC home and away (3-1 in Masindi and 1-0 at Lugogo). Kitara also powered past KCCA FC over two legs in the FUFA Super 8 (1-0 and 3-2).
