NEC FC have an opportunity to make it three wins in three as they host UPDF FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo at 7pm.

The Hussein Mbalangu coached side are the only side with maximum points having won their first two games.

NEC beat Vipers 3-1 in the opener before beating Kitara FC 2-1 courtesy of goals from Enock Ssebagala and Gaddafi Wahab last Thursday in Hoima.

UPDF FC are currently 4th on the table with four points from two games having drawn 1-1 against Maroons in their opener before beating Lugazi FC 1-0 thanks to Andrew Kigozi.

Mbalangu says they will strive to maintain their strategy but also to improve in the grey areas so as to overcome a team he has dubbed as a strong side.

” Our strategy hasn’t changed. We just have to improve on a few things because it is not going to be an easy game since UPDF FC is also an improved side, they have had a good start to the season. They are a strong side so we have to put in a shift to win the game at home.”

Mbalangu said in a pre-match interview with CK Sports.
