Derrick Mwanje and Basham Mugwa were the two changes for Sadiq Sempigi’s side from their 1-0 loss to UPDF FC.
Nothing was to separate the two sides in a game of minimum scoring opportunities.
For Vipers, the stalemate was like a defeat in their title aspirations this term while for Lugazi it was worthy celebration since it was their first point in the topflight.
Vipers are fourth on the table standings with four points and will next host league champions SC Villa on Saturday, 5th October at Kitende.
Lugazi on the other hand remain bottom places with just a single point.
