Owek. Robert Serwanga has appreciated in the development of football within Buganda and promised to continue providing support to the Region.
He made the remarks at the 11th Buganda Region Football Associations (RFA) General Assembly that was held at Jesus Is Lord Complex Nakaseke,
“I appreciate Buganda Region for the efforts towards the development of the game of football in Buganda. We shall always continue to work with you, I promise to always be available whenever needed.”
“As the minister in charge, I promise to work with everyone. It’s upon you to be available and work with us, you can only work with us when you make yourself available.”He added
The Buganda Region Football Associations chairman Andrew Kaweesa believes Buganda Region is moving in the right direction,
“We thank God who has enabled us to successfully hold the 11th General Assembly. A lot has changed in the region and more will change we are working to at least get a sponsor on board God willing we shall soon unveil one.”
An estimated budget of 285,415,000/= for the 2024-25 season was revealed and the funds are expected to be through registrations, FUFA conditional grant, courses and gate collections.
FUFA Executive Committee Members Dr.Apollo Ahimbisibwe and Sam Mpiima and Hajji Abdul Kawuulu the chairman Buganda Province team were among those that were in attendance.
