Patrick Henry Kaddu rescued at least a point for Kitara FC in a 1-1 draw against Mbarara City FC in Friday’s Uganda Premier League clash at Kakyeka Stadium.

The goals came late in the game with Ronald Egwok striking first for the hosts in the 83rd minute before Kaddu quickly cancelled it out in the 89th minute.

Before the game, there was speculation that if Kitara FC head coach Brian Ssenyondo had suffered defeat against his former paymasters it would have been the end of the road for the tactician at the club.

Kitara FC faithfuls however are still calling on the management to part ways with Ssenyondo who led the club to their maiden Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph last season.

Meanwhile, Mbarara City stay tenth on the Uganda Premier league table standings with six points while Kitara FC are 13th with four points.
