South Africa head coach Hugo Broos has named the provisional squad of 38 players to prepare for the final round of games of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Bafana Bafana are currently second in Group K and will lock horns with Uganda on 15th November in Kampala before hosting South Sudan in their final group game.
Broos has named Percy Tau who features for Egyptian Giants Al Ahly in the provisional squad.
This is the first time that Tau has been called for international duties this qualification campaign.
Goalkeeper and South Africa team captain Ronwen Williams is also in the provisional squad for the two games.
Burnley FC striker Lyle Foster is the notable exclusion after getting injured in South Africa’s 5-0 win over Congo Brazzaville.
Uganda need a point to secure a return to the continental showpiece, they are currently top with 10 points while South Africa are second with 8 points.
