KCCA FC shred Maroons FC 5-0 under the floodlights of Lugogo on Thursday night.
The dominant display saw the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions go top of the table.
Ashraf Mugume gave the hosts an early lead in the third minute of the contest after Maroons failed to clear their lines from a corner kick.
Abu Mayanja doubled the Kasasiro Boys’ advantage after being fed by Bright Anukani.
Before the halftime breather, Maroons FC goalkeeper Simon Tamale’s clearance landed Saidi Mayanja who struck from a distance for the hosts’ third.
Shafik Nana Kwikiriza scored his first goal for KCCA FC since making a move to Lugogo.
Debutant Sadat Anaku completed the scoring on his return after being fed by Usama Arafat.
KCCA FC now move to the top of the log with 17 points, after cruising to five victories and two draws.
Mubiru and his men will next visit Vipers SC in the top of the table clash on 9th November
