Resty Kobusobozi grabs brace as Lady Doves make light work of She Maroons

She Maroons 0-3 Lady Doves

Resty Kobusobozi continued with her scoring form to inspire Lady Doves to a 3-0 win over She Maroons in the Finance Trust Bank Women Super League game played at Luzira.

Kobusobozi grabbed a brace while Joweria Nagadya came off the bench to seal the comprehensive victory.

Kobusobozi who scored a hat trick a week ago against Makerere University, currently leads the scoring charts with seven goals from the eight games she has played.

The diminutive forward was on target in the 5th and 35th minute to give Lady Doves a comfortable lead at halftime.

Nagadya’s strike came in the 85th minute as the encounter headed for completion.

The victory keeps Lady Doves within touching distance with last season’s title contenders Kawempe Muslim and Kampala Queens.

Lady Doves are 4th on the table with 17 points, three behind leaders Kawempe Muslim who beat Uganda Martyrs 1-0 at Bugolobi.

The 2021 league winners will host Rines WFC in their next game at Katusabe grounds in Masindi on Saturday 14th December.

She Maroons will host Kampala Queens in their subsequent match on Sunday 15th.
