Vipers SC missed a chance to go top of the Uganda Premier league table with a 1-1 stalemate with BUL FC.
This was the third consecutive home draw for the Venoms following draws against KCCA FC and Kitara FC respectively.
BUL FC on the other hand remain winless in now five games.
Pascal Ngobi gave the visitors an early lead with a powerful low shot that left goalkeeper Alfred Mudekereza helpless silencing the Kitende outfits in four minutes.
The Venoms restored parity in the 28th minute through Allan Okello’s well taken penalty after Najib Fesali had brought down Vipers striker Gusto Mulongo in the forbidden area.
The home side tried to find a winner with Milton Karisa and Okello both having better scoring opportunities but couldn’t beat BUL FC goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa.
Vipers stay second with 25 points, a point adrift of leaders NEC FC While BUL FC are 10th with 15 points.
