Lugala FC clinched the inaugural 2024 Kinoni Najjembe Christmas Cup with a 2-0 win over Legends FC in the final.
The tournament organized by David Ssenkubuge alias Dave Pundit kicked off on 15th November and climaxed on December 25th, 2024.
According to Ssenkubuge the event will be organized annually to enable young talented footballers develop their talents
“This tournament will be organized annually to enable young talented youths around Kinoni and nearby areas to develop their talents.” We hope for a better tournament in 2025 but we believe we have had a fantastic first edition of the event.” Said Ssenkubuge
Kinoni FC, Bulyasi FC, Legends FC, Hope Doves FC, Bombardier FC and Lugala FC are the teams that took part in the event. The winners Lugala FC walked away with a Bull and winner’s trophy plus gold medals while the runners up smiled with a goat and silver medals.
