The kick off time of the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 clash between Vipers and Mbarara City has been confirmed.
The Venoms will host Ankole Lions on Thursday 20th February at 7pm at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
This will be the first ever Stanbic Uganda Cup game to be played under the floodlights.
“The Stanbic Uganda Cup is back – and we are at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende under the lights this Thursday against Mbarara City FC.” Vipers confirmed the development via their socials
Vipers eliminated Tepa FC at the round of 64 with a 2-1 victory while Mbarara City needed a 5-3 shootout win over Junior Eagles following a goalless draw. The Venoms are three time competition winners.
Meanwhile, the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 will kickoff on Wednesday with three games as Simba FC host SC Villa, Rwenzori Lions Vs Buhimba United Saints while Total FC will entertain Express FC on the same day.
On Thursday CATDA will host holders Kitara FC, Kaaro Karungi FC will take on Busia Young Stars FC before Vipers welcome Mbarara City.
