The Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 has officially concluded on Wednesday 26th February 2025 with Maroons edging Wakiso Giants in the penalty shootout at Luzira Prison ground after a goalless stalemate.
Maroons progressed to the last 16 after a 4-2 shootout win in the final game of the round of 32.
The Prison Warders join SC Villa who eliminated Simba FC 1-0, Express FC tormentors Total FC, Vipers SC who overcame Mbarara City in the round of 16.
URA FC, Rwenzori Lions, BUL FC, Blacks Power, Gaddafi FC, Kataka FC, KCCA FC, Police FC, Kaaro Karungi, Lugazi FC, UPDF FC and holders Kitara in the last 16.
Kitara FC are the current Stanbic Uganda Cup holders following their 1-0 triumph over NEC FC in the final last year.
KCCA FC and Express FC are the record winners of this competition both on ten trophies.
The winners of this competition represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup.
