Champions SC Villa registered their first win on the road this term with a 3-1 win over Bright Stars at Kavumba on Friday.
SC Villa had not managed a league win away from home this term but goals from Aslam Ssemakula, Charles Lwanga and Patrick Jonah Kakande handed them three points to ease pressure on Morley Byekwaso.
Ssemakula gave the Jogoos the lead in the ninth minute when he netted for a corner kick delivery before Charles Lwanga doubled their lead in the 20th minute.
Nelson Ssenkatuka pulled one back for the hosts with five minutes to the recess.
Kakande put the cherry on the icing of the cake with the third for SC Villa in the 64th minute.
SC Villa are now 9th placed on the table with 27 points while Bright Stars are languishing in the Red zone with 12 points.
