FUFA Big League side Kaaro Karungi have booked a berth in the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter finals with a 3-0 win over Uganda Premier League side UPDF FC at the Kyamate Ground in Ntungamo.
Moses Seremba, Gideon Onyango and Clinton Kamugisha scored the goals for Kaaro Karungi.
Seremba grabbed the lead in the 24th minute, Onyango doubled the lead in the 59th minute before Kamugisha sealed the victory in the 79th minute.
Consequently, Kaaro Karungi joined Kataka FC as the other FUFA Big League side in the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter finals.
Kaaro Karungi, Kataka FC, BUL FC, KCCA, Kitara FC, Police FC and SC Villa are the confirmed seven quarter-finalists so far.
The last quarter final slot will be occupied by the winner between Vipers SC and Blacks Power.
