URA FC prevailed 2-0 past Mbarara City FC during their Uganda Premier league contest at Kakyeka Stadium on Friday.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Bruno Bunyaga scored the two goals for Alex Isabirye Musongola’s side in either half of the game.
Ahimbisibwe gave the visitors the lead in the 17th minute after being fed by a perfect Moses Aliro cross.
In the second half, Ahimbisibwe was replaced by Bunyaga who rewarded his coach Isabirye for the trust by scoring the second goal in the 79th minute to secure maximum points for the revenue collectors.
URA FC are now fourth on the Uganda Premier league table with 36 points while Mbarara City are 12th on 23 points.
Meanwhile, SC Villa suffered their eighth defeat of the season at BUL FC while NEC FC dropped points at UPDF FC in the title run-in in the other games played on Friday.
