Uganda Premier league side BUL FC is expected to part ways with their head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko at the end of the current season.
Kikomeko was recently suspended by FUFA for six months for attacking match officials during BUL’s Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarterfinal exit at Kitara FC last month.
This website understands that the hierarchy at BUL FC was disappointed with Kikomeko’s actions in their defeat to Kitara.
Sources also reveal that the Jinja based side club is already looking for his replacement ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Kikomeko was appointed BUL FC head coach at the start of the 2023/24 season. In that very campaign, the Eastern Giants finished second placed behind SC Villa who clinched the title on the final day.
This very season, BUL are currently third with 49 points on the league table with four games to the climax of the season.
Besides BUL FC, Kikomeko has previously served at Kirinya Jinja SS now Busoga United and Mbale Heroes FC.
BUL FC will next face second placed NEC FC in their league contest at the MTN Omondi Stadium on Wednesday, 7th May 2025.
