Steven Mukwala scored a goal in each half to inspire Simba SC to a 2-1 comeback victory over KMC FC in the Tanzania Premier League on Sunday.
Mukwala scored Simba’s equalizer in the 16th minute after Rashid Chambo had given KMC an early lead eight minutes before.
The Uganda Cranes striker completed the comeback with a clinical finish from Joshua Mutale’s orchestrated move two minutes into the second half.
Mukwala’s brace took his tally to 11 goals this season, four behind his Ivorian teammate Jean Ahoua who is the league’s leading scorer with 15.
Simba are currently second placed on the table with 69 points, one behind leaders Young Africans with 26 games played.
