Emmanuel Arnold Okwi is set to leave Rwanda Premier League side AS Kigali as his one year contract expires.
Okwi joined AS Kigali at the start of the season in August last year after his initial talks with another Rwanda Premier League side Kiyovu Sports Club failed to materialize.
The former Uganda Cranes striker had an impressive campaign with AS Kigali scoring nine league goals and contributing three assists in the process.
His exploits with the club elevated him to a nomination for the Player of the Season Award (MVP) in the recently concluded Rwanda Premier League Awards.
Okwi was arguably the best performing Ugandan player in the Rwanda Premier League, alongside goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato of Mukura Victory Sport.
