Defending champions Ngabi Nsamba successfully defended the Bika bya Baganda football Ngabo after defeating Ndiga 6-5 in penalty shoot outs.
After the two sides playing to a two all full-time draw in a final played at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku, the winner was to be decided from penalty shoot outs.
Musa Mulindwa, Richard Matovu, Allan Bukenya, Vianne Ssekajugo, Junior Kikambi and Najib Yiga all converted from the spot for winners Ngabi Nsamba.
Ibrahim Bbosa, Reagan Mpande, Denis Kisiriko Luzige and Dan Mzee Sserunkuma also scored from the spot for Ndiga.
Isa Lumu’s penalty was saved by goalkeeper Hassan Matovu hence handing Ngabi Nsamba their sixth championship.
In normal time Stephen Yiga and Sula Matovu Malouda scored for Ngabi Nsamba while Ndiga’s two goals were scored by Reagan Mpande.


In the first game that was played Nseenene defeated Kkobe 1-0 courtesy of Brian Masembe’s goal to finish third.
Erias Kiyemba of Kasimba was the tournament’s top scorer with five goals.
Mpande of Ndiga clan was named the Most Valuable Player ( MVP)
The best goalkeeper of the tournament was Henry Mwebe of Nseenene.
Ngabi Nsamba has now won the Ngabo ye bika bya Baganda six times 1951, 1987, 2007, 2013, 2024 and 2025.
