Etienne Katenga and Filbert Obenchan are set to renew their contracts with KCCA FC to keep them in the club for the upcoming season.
Katenga and Obenchan, are out of contract this month but this website can reliably confirm that the two players are to renew their stays at the 13 time Uganda Premier league.
Obenchan currently serves as assistant captain and is a soccer academy graduate at KCCA FC. He previously spent two years in the KCCA FC soccer academy 2015 -2016 and 2016-2017.
He then graduated to the KCCA FC senior team and also had a loan spell at UPDF Football Club.
His current contract which he signed in January 2022 expires this month and is expected to put pen to paper on a two year deal.
Meanwhile, Katenga who has been on Vipers radar this window will also renew his KCCA FC stay.

The Angola attacker is also out of contract this June, having joined the Kasasiro boys in 2023 on a two year deal. He has previously played for Asa FC, Saurimo, and CD Lunda Sul.
The latest at Lugogo indicates there is confidence in their renewals and they are expected to remain with the club for at least two more seasons.
