South Sudanese champions Jamus Sports Club have tabled a juicy bid for striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe who is running out of contract at URA FC.

Ahimbisibwe scored 16 goals to finish three behind golden boot winner Allan Okello and subsequently garnered attention from the South Sudan big spenders.

Jamus Sports Club embarked on a busy transfer spell and have managed to sign new players from various countries.

The club recently signed Rayon Sports captain Kevin Muhire, former TP Mazembe defender Manuma Mungwengi and left-back Rashid Okocha from NEC FC.

As earlier reported, Ahimbisibwe is also a priority transfer target for KCCA FC who are in search of a prolific striker in the primary transfer window.

URA FC are also optimistic about a contract renewal for their most reliable and efficient forward heading into the next season.

Jamus SC won the South Sudan Premier League last season and will be playing in the CAF Champions League for the first time ever.
