Brazilian forward Joao Gabriel Esteves Cardoso has extended his stay at Uganda Premier league side KCCA FC for at least two more seasons.
The club confirmed the development on Saturday, revealing that Gabriel will be at the club until 2027.
“KCCA FC is delighted to announce that Brazilian forward João Gabriel Esteves Cardoso has signed a new two-year contract extension, securing his future with the Kasasiro Boys until 2027.This development ensures that the talented attacker will continue to dazzle the KCCA FC faithful at the MTN Omondi Stadium for seasons to come.” Reads a statement from the club
Gabriel also expressed his delight upon the contract renewal
“I am happy to continue my journey with KCCA FC. I have truly embraced the culture here and the passionate support from the fans. I feel at home in Lugogo, and I am eager to continue contributing to the team’s success.”
He has previously featured for Brazilian giants Flamengo (U20) and Germany’s FCA Darmstadt. Gabriel scored 4 goals and had 3 assists from 10 appearances in the Uganda Premier League last season. He also scored one goal in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
