Lugazi FC have completed the signing of former Express FC left-back Dauson Mafumu as their first signing.
Mafumu who left Express FC in the course of last season, has signed a two year contract with the Najjembe based club.
Mafumu is a product of the FUFA Juniors League having played two seasons with the Express Junior Team.
Following his consistent and brilliant performances, Mafumu earned promotion to the Express senior team in 2022.
He is a former player of the Makindye Soccer Academy and Kibuli Secondary School.
His acquisition officially confirms Lugazi’s squad reinforcement starts in preparation for the upcoming 2025/26 season.
The club has already appointed Francis Mugerwa as their co-coach to work alongside Steven Bogere.
