Mawokota Ssaza team captain Amour Munogera is to join Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC in this transfer window.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that the Venoms have been impressed by Munogera’s performances at Mawokota in the Buganda Kingdom organized Masaza Cup championship and are set to reward him with a two year deal in this transfer window.

Munogera has also been training with the Kitende-based club, impressing both the coaching staff and management with his talent.

During the January transfer window, Munogera came close to joining the Venoms but the deal didn’t materialize at that time.

Munogera currently features for Mawokota Ssaza team that has Vipers SC President Dr Lawrence Mulindwa as their Patron.

Last year, Munogera was at Buweekula Ssaza team where he was named as the most valuable player in the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup.

Vipers SC began their pre-season training last week under new head coach Belgian Ivan Jacky Minnaert who will work with John Ayala Luyinda and Fred Muhumuza who served as co-coaches last season.
