Kitara FC have been boosted by the contract extension of striker Patrick Henry Kaddu, Swift Sports understands.
Kaddu’s initial contract expired last month but following Swift negotiations, the former KCCA striker put pen to a two year contract.
He is expected to be an integral part in Kitara’s rebuilding process that has seen a bigger part of the squad players depart as free agents.
Kaddu scored five goals and five assists in the 20 games he played for Kitara FC in the League on top of guiding the club to a semi-final finish in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
He is a tried and tested striker who has previously played in Egypt (Ismaily SC), Kenya (Gor Mahia) and Moroccan sides Youssoufia Berrechid and RS Berkane.
He also played for Maroons FC, the now defunct Kira Young as well as KCCA FC locally.
Kaddu has scored nine goals in the 21 national team appearances for the Uganda Cranes in all competitions.
