Matia Lule’s Police FC will be aiming for maximum points when they host Badru Kaddu’s new look Express FC on Thursday at Kiira Road Police Arena.
The Cops began their league campaign with a 1-1 draw with Mbarara City on the opening day in a match they were dominant.
Express FC on the other hand won their previous game with a narrow 1-0 win over UPDF FC at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.
Current Police FC head coach Lule and skipper Saidi Kyeyune will be under the spotlight when they take on their former bosses.
Express was Kyeyune’s home last season before he crossed over the new look Police FC.
The Red Eagles have dominated this fixture, winning three of their last five meetings. Last season, Police FC overcame Express FC 2-1 at Nakivubo with their meeting in Kavumba ending in a one all draw.
In the other fixture on Thursday, NEC FC who were eliminated in the Caf Confederation Cup will turn focus to the league when they visit URA FC under the lights of Nakivubo on Thursday.
