Maroons FC have been boosted by the return of midfielder Ivan Asaba who has fully recovered from a concussion.
The latest development from the club is that Asaba will be available for selection when Maroons visit Police FC in the Uganda Premier League contest on Wednesday at Kiira Road Arena.
It should be noted that Asaba sustained a concussion during a practice match against Vipers SC and has been on the sidelines for weeks.
He was an unused substitute in Maroons’ season opener against BUL FC and missed games against UPDF and Calvary FC.
Maroons is currently 10th on the table with four points while Police FC is 6th with five points.
The Cops have managed one win, drawn twice and lost once while Maroons FC has one win, one draw and lost twice this term.
In the previous seven meetings, Maroons has won three, Police FC has managed one and three games have ended in stalemates.
