Kenya Police Bullets 6-0 Gideon Starlets
Margret Kunihira became the first player to score a hat trick in the Kenya Women’s Premier League as Kenya Police Bullets beat Gideon Starlets 6-0 on Saturday.
The Crested Cranes forward opened the scores in the 14th minute before scoring later in the 62nd and 73rd minute to seal her hat trick.
Kunihira’s compatriot Zaina Namuleme also got her name on the score sheet but also grabbed an assist in what turned out to be her first start of the season.
Desire Katisi Natooro also featured for the Kenyan champions in defender and ensured a clean sheet.
Lorna Nyarinda Nyabuto and second half substitute Puren Alukwe scored the other goals to complete the rout.
Kenya Police Bullets currently sit second on the table with nine points, level with leaders Vihiga Queens who have a slightly better goal difference.
