USSSA confirms host schools for 2026 national championships

The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) has confirmed the host schools the respective 2026 national championships.

The confirmation was made during the 43rd Annual General Meeting held on Saturday afternoon at the Front Page Hotel in Namasuba.

Janan Secondary School – Bombo Campus will host the Elite Secondary School Games to be held in February.

The National Football (U20) Boys Championship will be hosted by Lira Town School in Northern Uganda in May.

The National Ball Games will also be held in May and will be hosted by Seroma Christian School in Mukono district.

The National Ball Games II will be bled in July and will be hosted by Sacred Heart Secondary School in Gulu City.

The National Swimming Gala will also be hosted by Seroma Christian School in Mukono in June.

However, the USSSA President Justus Mugisha has also confirmed the standby hosts for the aforementioned events.

St. Mary’s College Rushoroza (Kabale) is the standby host for the National Boys Football Championship.

Ntare School Mbarara and Nyakasura School are the standby hosts for the National Ball Games I and II respectively.

The USSSA 43rd Annual General Meeting also revealed a projected budget of 15,526,943,159/= for the calendar year 2026.
