The Confederation of African football (CAF) has confirmed the final shortlist for Men’s 2025 CAF Player of the year.
The awarding ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, 19th November in Rabat, Morocco.
Egypt star Mohamad Salah will battle with Morocco right Achraf Hakimi and Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen.
Salah helped Liverpool win the 2024/25 premier League title and played a vital role for Egypt’s World Cup and Afcon qualifications.
Hakimi won the UEFA Champions league and Ligue 1 title with PSG also helping Morocco progress to the World Cup and Afcon.
Osimhen on the other hand guided Nigeria to the Afcon despite failing to progress to the World Cup and has been instrumental for his Galatasaray side in Turkey.
Goalkeeper of the year, Young player of the year, Interclub player of the year, coach of the year, national team of the year and club of the year are the other awards to be rewarded at the awards ceremony on Wednesday.
