URA FC have mutually parted ways with head coach Alex Isabirye following a series of unconvincing results, Swift Sports reliably understands.

Isabirye leaves URA FC alongside his assistans Baker Kasule, Damba Jamil and Patrick Asiku Crespo.

Kasule has been serving as the second assistant, Damba as the goalkeeping coach and Asiku as the third assistant.

His departure comes after the club’s 2-1 defeat to KCCA FC on Friday evening.

Isabirye returned to URA FC a season ago in a bid to revive the club’s glory days but has instead endured rough and torrid times in his spell.

He was appointed as the club’s head coach in May 2023 and went on to manage 36 games, winning 17, drawing nine and losing 10 times.

He is arguably one of them most decorated coaches in the country and has managed sides like Vipers SC, Express FC, BUL FC, Soana, Kyetume FC, Nyamityobora and Somalia’s Horseed SC.

The Tax Collectors are expected to announce a new head coach this week with Hussein Mbalangu the most favourite candidate.
