The Shell rally team of Ronald Ssebuguzi and Anthony Mugambwa have won the 2025 National Rally Championship.
Ssebuguzi needed just eight points at the season finale over the weekend in Hoima district to claim his fourth NRC title.
At the Kabalega Rally, Ssebuguzi in his Ford Fiesta Proto finished fourth in Hoima to smile at the 2025 title.
“This victory belongs to my family, SRT team, and everyone who believed in me. I am humbled. “It’s not easy joining this league, but God made it possible.” Said Ssebuguzi after his triumph
Ssebuguzi had previously won the title in 2006, 2009, and 2014. He joins the likes of Charlie Lubega and Jas Mangat who are the other drivers to have won four titles.
Duncan Mubiru won the Kabalega Rally while Musa Sseggabwe was second with Umar Dauda finishing third.
