Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) president and Kampala Central MP aspirant Moses Muhangi has unveiled the belts for this year’s Boxing Champions League finals due this Friday, Boxing Day, at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
Muhangi who is aiming for the Kampala Central MP seat at the 2026 polls unveiled the championship belts on Wednesday in Kamwokya, a Kampala suburb.
The belts will be rewarded to the outstanding performers in each weight category.
“This year’s competition has been intense and highly competitive. The quality of boxing continues to improve, and the belts reflect the value and prestige we want to attach to our champions.” Said the Independent Kampala Central Mp aspirant
Meanwhile, 27 bouts are to close the 2025 Champions League on Friday.
Each boxer taking part in the championship will receive a token of Shs150,000 on the fight night.
