Uganda Premier League leaders Vipers Sc will travel to FUFA Kadiba to face off with record league winners SC Villa.
The Jogoos overcame arch-rivals KCCA FC 1-0 in their previous round with Hassan Mubiru securing the win.
Vipers on the other hand drew goalless with second placed Kitara FC in their previous league fixture at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
Vipers come into this contest top of the table with 51 points they have garnered in 22 games while SC Villa are fourth on 44 points. Both sides are separated by seven points and Villa are in a must win situation to keep their title hopes.
Team News:
SC Villa is expected to miss the services of defender Raymond Barasa Mangoli who was forced off in Villa’s triumph over KCCA FC last Saturday.
The Venoms are likely to again without their experienced goalkeeper Alfred Mudekereza who got injured during their Stanbic Uganda Cup quarterfinal clash against NEC FC.

Villa will learn on Patrick Jonah Kakande long with Hassan Mubiru and their top scorer in the league this term Patrick Ssebuufu.
Vipers will have their hopes in Abdul Karim Watambala, Usama Arafat and their skipper Milton Karisa.

The two sides last faced off last year at Kitende with the contest ending in a 1-1 stalemate, Ssebuufu scored for Villa while Usama struck for Vipers.
