Watambala names Best and Most Underrated Player at Vipers

Vipers SC starman Abdul Karim Watambala has named the best player and underrated player at the eight title league champions.

While appearing on NBS sport, Watambala has named Usama Arafat as the best player at the club with Hilary Mukundane as the hardest and funniest player in the Vipers camp.

He has brand Enock Ssebaggala as the most underrated player at the club. Ssebaggala joined Vipers from NEC FC at the start of the just concluded season.

Watambala was named as Vipers Most Valuable Player of the season and will battle for the Uganda Premier League player of the year gong along with SC Villa duo of Raymond Barasa Mangoli and Frank Ssebuufu.

KCCA FC’s Sammy Ssebaduka and Entebbe UPPC striker Ambrose Kigozi are the other nominees.

Watambala scored 12 league goals and contributed four assists in arguably his best campaign at the club. Watambala along with Mukundane, Usama were named in Paul Put’s squad for international friendly matches against Tanzania and Madagascar due next month.
